13th Annual Fraser Island Clean Up
Registrations Now Open
Hello Member Clubs,
Club Registrations for the 13th Annual Fraser Island Clean Up are now being accepted.
When: 1st – 3rd June 2013
Location: Various locations around Fraser Island, in cooperation with QPWS.
What will be happening?
Saturday morning - Registration Open, Arrive on the island, set up camp, time for your own club to explore the Island.
Sunday - Clean Up Activities, followed by a BBQ and entertainment.
Monday – explore some more and sadly time to pack and head home, unless you or your club want to extend the visit*
Where do we camp?
Each club will be designated a camp area (beach camping ONLY). If your club has already expressed an interest in camping in a particular area you will be notified shortly regarding this.
We request that clubs do NOT make their own arrangements for camping on the island.*
*QPWS vehicle & camping fees will again be waived for the long weekend. Of course, if any of your club’s members intend to arrive before or stay after the times stated above they will be required to pay all the normal fees applicable. Advising us of this scenario will mean that you may not have to relocate camp after the cleanup.
How do we get there?
4WD Qld are again negotiating the availability of reduced barge fares between Inskip Point and Fraser Island. Confirmation of prices will be sent out with the permits & stickers.

Hi Darryl,

Could you add our 2 names laurence and Marc .Last time I asked if non members could join (they will be in my car) ? So is it possible or not ?

Cheers
Marc
According to the rules for this event (4WDQLD, not ours) this event is only open to club members and immediate family ie children.
Hope this helps
Darryl
Yep according to the current rules they will need to join our club, but at that point the cost is below the savings made by attending.
