Hi Wayne
I hope so, will be back at work in the morning and will try and do a swap with someone but no promises.
As it is I have missed out big time money wise so I can be available at the clubs AGM, guess I could have changed the date but :?

My Problem is we only have a few weeks left before a big trip up north so I have to keep a mind on just how much I spend before then and now.. will see.

Looks all good, I have a couple of minor issues before committing to the trip.I need recovery points on front (just got this one so not sorted yet), need to wire the fridge (5 min job but the 4 kids seem to be taking it in turns to hang off my right leg)Oh by the way will brakes be needed on this trip (just joking Smile )

The kids, she 12, he 9, he 5 and he 2 3/4 are looking forward to it,early start and all. So I best get my B into gear and see you all there. Cheers.

Hay ya

this is getting exciting it will be nice to have some kids on the trip and all of you either new or prospective members attending!

Question is are any of you thinking of camping the night?
I know we have listed this as a day trip and it will possibly stay that way but if anyone is keen to stay the night then I will possibly join you but it would be nice to know before hand so I can arrange to pack camping gear and extra food.

Fantastic!
Well it should not be too hard to see us, we now have quite a lot of cars - quite amassing considering many of our previous trips!

Victor, My Vice President will be one of the first cars there.. I hope :-)
He is in an Air Master car and should have the club banner draped over the car in plane view so hopefully none of us will miss this!

Unfortunately I have made a mess of the Forum entry for this and while I can fix it I am going to leave it alone for now, but there are two threads active so if you see a second one you will know why.

Ok I have spoken to the park owner and Jan tells me there is plenty of park to go around as there are two other clubs also staying in the park, one that we know several of the members, so could be quite a light for those intending on camping and quite a busy day driving around.

For those camping there is plenty of Firewood to collect and chain saws are permitted!

At this stage we will head up as a group as planned but once in the park we may decide to split the group up to allow some who want to play harder to do so but this is your choice so please let us know, either way you will see us coming!

WoW this is getting exciting!

Re: Club trip - 6th August 2011
Hi

I would like to thank all the people that attended the trip.
Out of the 14 cars that were going to attend we only had two pull out so we ended up with 12 Cars and 20 Adults and 8 kids.

WOW what a turnout!

The Park was a little confusing at first as you firstly reach the camp grounds but then have to drive on for a while longer to the shop where you actually pay and get the maps, with the numbers we had it sort of filled the shop for a while, then another group arrived from another club, this got really confusing :-)

Once all paid for we headed back to the camp grounds, set up tents for those staying while the group that were not camping headed off to start driving while us campers moved on separately later on.

From all accounts I think all that participated enjoyed themselves and hopefully many of the new people will look at joining the club so all is looking good for our club!

The Park had good camping facilities and the tracks while possibly needing reclassification since the heavy rain earlier this year was fantastic with many different levels, mind you I am seriously thinking I need a second 4WD - one without the height problems the troopy presents! - steep sideways tracks get really scary in such a high car!

I know Scott took several photo's and these will be uploaded soon, but if you took any you wish to share can you also please upload them and add a few words.
